Looking Back

When I think of the two girls, my heart just overflow with thanksgiving. God indeed has blessed me with two of the most beautiful angels and gift in life. On the day when I was in lobor, Qi Ning waited for me at the hospital. She left after seeing me and baby in the wee hour of the morning. That time she was still not fully recover yet and was down with flu. That made her quite clingy.
After I discharge from the hospital, that was where real adjustment come about for Qi Ning. She now has to share mummy with meimei. Due to her health at that time, it was hard for her initially. For the first week, Qi Ning would wake up whenever I wake up to nurse Qi Yu, sometime she would cries, sometime she would hold on to me, refused to let me get up. But later she would let me go but stays awake to keep me company. She would also set up the seat for me to nurse Qi Yu. Qi Ning also pass her germ to her meimei, Qi Yu caught the flu bugs from Qi ning, was coughing and had running nose during the first week home.
It was a real testing time for me during the first week of my confinement. Having to deal with two sickly girls and also my own C-section pain. But God was incredibably good to me. He quicken the step of my C-section recovery. I could get up of bed without much pain in the very early stage, maybe within the first week of my c-section.
Now the two girls are best of pal, Qi Yu will smile whenever her jiejie call up to her and Qi ning just loves her little meimei and will running to get her diaper whenever we need to change for Qi Yu. She wants to carry her meimei every so often. Such joys to see them growing up together!
