Each time when I look at my girls, I am always amaze by God's wonderful creation and am thankful for the two little angels that He has given to me.
Qi Yu turning 8mth old tomorrow. this little baby of me is growing bigger each day. I used to worry for her weight gain, now I am quite sure that she is growing well and not to be alarm by her lack of milk intake during day time. She now weigh about 8 kg, length wise, didn't do any measurement lately. She now has four pearly white, 2 upper and 2 lower. Her milk intake during the day is still not very much, about 180ml but she has started to enjoy her porridge or fruits quite a bit. Every morning, she will have an egg yolk for breakfast. Lunch and dinner time she will have porridge, in between she will have her milk and fruits. She likes fruits more than porridge! Whenever she see us eating, she would reach out her hands, wanting to grap a bite as well.
Qi Yu is quite ambitious, not yet pro in crawling, she wanna learn how to stand pledi. Now whenever she had opportunity, she would pull herself up in a standing position. If she is successful, she would smile to herself. She can crawl and then sit down nicely.
She starts to say baba, not sure if she is actually calling baba or just part of the sounds that she made. She is quite talkative and laugh easily when you play with her. She has a loud voice and will make sure you hear her especially if she dislike the situition. Yes, she won't hesitate to scream at the top of her lung till you take her out of the situation, eg when being strapped down in her haigh chair or car seat.
She loves to play and would sacrifice sleep for play. Mummy is having a hard time to lure her to sleep for the past few nights. Usually by 9.30pm she oledi in her dreamland, now 10.30pm still rolling all over the bed, pulling herself to a standing position , making yeeyaya sounds. Weekends even worst, when mummy is around sleep even less. I hope this is just a passing phase.
Watching her grow is a pleasure and she is such a joy to have!
